The demon with the right hand of doom is back and he’s ready to go to work in a ferocious new trailer that is packed out with plenty of gore and promises one hell of a rush in Hellboy.
Check out the new trailer below:
Here’s the full synopsis:
Hellboy (David Harbour) prepares to stop an ancient medieval sorceress who seeks to destroy all of mankind.
Following in the wake of the first trailer, this new and full on look goes straight to redband territory and throws in a good helping of blood and guts to get the blood pumping. Star David Harbour is on a roll here as big red and he’s packing one serious ‘bad attitude’, along with plenty of outlandish humour as he takes on a vindictive sorceress with plans to lead the world into a literal Armageddon.
Harbour has fully invested himself into the character and really cranks it as he bashes his way through a whole host of ghoulish nasties who are interested in sending the world into chaos. Along with Harbour’s slice and dice action, we’re also given an expanded look at the film’s supporting characters who include Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, a young woman who posses some dangerous fairy powers and Daniel Dae Kim as Ben Daimio, a rugged and gung-ho military vet who has a deep animosity towards Hellboy and who can turn himself into a jaguar when pushed too far.
Then there’s of-course the presence of Milla Jovovich’s Nimue, also known as The Queen of Blood, who is seeking to send the world to the end times and whose dark and twisted powers are sure to send a shiver down your spine. Jovovich definitely makes for a dangerous adversary here and her showdown with Harbour is sure to be epic!
Along with our cast, this new trailer gives us an expanded look at the new film which is completely coated with a good lashing of blood and guts and will speak to any fan of hard-hitting horror cinema. Director Neil Marshall is really going for something different here and it absolutely shows up in the film’s wild new footage.
Prepare yourselves for an awesome ride when the demon returns with a vengeance to cinemas on April 11.
