Evil lurks at the heart of ‘Pet Sematary’
Some lines should never be crossed, and Stephen King’s classic and haunting horror story Pet Sematary chronicles the consequences of what happens when you tamper with the very fabric of nature and it makes for a gnarly watch in this all-new movie adaptation.
Following on from the first trailer, a brand new featurette takes audiences inside the horrors that await in Pet Sematary and you’ll surely be scared after seeing this:
Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke) moves his family out of the big city to the country. There he discovers that they have moved near a pet cemetery that rests on an ancient burial ground, and when his daughter is killed in an auto accident, he takes the girl’s body to the cemetery…..where it is resurrected in terrifying demonic form.
This new featurette for Pet Sematary really delves into the horror that is on show here and stars Jason Clarke and Jon Lithgow really make the pledge that audiences are in for a very scary time. Of the film and it’s material Clarke says, “Stephen King and Pet Sematary…it goes into a deeper level of what real horror is.”
Along with their creepy source material and stellar casting, directors Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer have given the film a really unique look and feel with it’s bleached out colour palette and mist filled atmosphere that is guranteed to send shivers up your spine.
Get ready for plenty of horror when Pet Sematary arrives in cinemas on April 4.
