‘The Boys’ gets very R-rated in brand new trailer
If there’s one TV series that I’ve been amped to set my eyes on this year then it is most definitely The Boys, and now we’ve got the release of an all-new trailer and it really highlights this crazy superhero tales sensational and out there concept.

The Boys takes place in “a world where superheroes embrace the darker side of their massive celebrity and fame” and “revolves around a group of vigilantes known informally as “the boys,” who set out to take down corrupt superheroes with no more than blue-collar grit and a willingness to fight dirty.
Loaded with in-your-face violence, plenty of curse words, and some pretty dodgy subject matter, The Boys is about to re-assert what it means to be a superhero and the rough and tumble group of CIA vigilantes dubbed The Boys who take it as their mission to keep these supers in line.
Cast in the series lead is Kiwi sensation Karl Urban (Dredd, Star Trek) as the vindictive and dangerous Billy Butcher and he’s ready to lay down a few ‘spankings’ to any and all supers who get out of line. And that means violence and mayhem on a whole new level with absolute extreme prejudice.
Up against him is fellow Kiwi Antony Starr (Banshee) who stars as the diabolical Alpha superhero The Homelander and this mighty marvel has no intention of playing by anyone’s rules, except his own, and that of course means plenty of trouble for anyone who would be mad enough to take him on.
The result is one crazy cool TV series that is definitely going to take audiences by surprise when The Boys premieres on Amazon Prime on July 26.
