Gerard Butler locks and loads for ‘Angel Has Fallen’

Gerard Butler is back and ready to go to war in Angel Has Fallen, the final chapter of the Olympus Has Fallen Trilogy, and this time Butler’s Secret Service agent Mike Banning is in for an intense challenge this time.

After the events in the previous film, Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) finds himself framed for an assassination attempt on the President. Pursued by his own agency and the FBI, Banning races to clear his name and uncover the real terrorist threat which has set its eyes sights on Air Force One.

Right off the bat things get heavy fast and Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman are in for a wild rush in this full on action adventure. Set following the events of London Has Fallen, Angel Has Fallen see’s Butler’s Mike Banning framed for murder and on the run. The action really ramps up quickly and this new story will really test Banning to his limit.

Butler is joined by Ric Roman Waugh, a super talented director who has crafted three superb crime dramas including Fallon, Snitch and Shot Caller. He’s a director who really gives everything to his craft and his presence alongside Butler should lead to some very interesting filmmaking and I’m interested to see what they cook up together.

Get ready to have your adrenaline pushed to the limit when Angel Had Fallen arrives in cinemas on August 22.
