Christopher Nolan is a filmmaker whose film’s always inspire and following the success of WWII epic Dunkirk, the renowned director is now working on a cryptic new project which now bears the title of Tenet.
The news of Nolan’s new film was broken by The Hollywood Reporter, and along with the name of the new film being floated out there, we’ve also learned about it’s new premise with the film being described as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.”
As for any other kind of information about what we could be in for, well, unfortunately Nolan is keeping all his surprises to himself, and given his track record for secrecy it could be a while before we actually learn anything new about the production.
What we do know is that Nolan is packing this film together with an extremely talented cast who include the likes of John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Dimple Kapadia, Clémence Poésy, Kenneth Branagh and Nolan regular Michael Caine.
He’ll also be joined on this one by noted collaborators including his Interstellar and Dunkirk cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema who will be shooting the film with the use of IMAX cameras.
Just what awaits us with Tenet will be a real mystery, but I’m very keen on this surprise and will be waiting for its arrival on when it finds its way into cinemas on July 17, 2020.
