Production keeps rolling forward on Bond 25, with the production crew for the much anticipated new James Bond returning to England’s Pinewood Studios to continue shooting.

Wanting to keep fans updated of how the filmmaking process is moving forward, a brand new behind-the-scenes feature has been released with a montage covering the film’s shoot in Jamaica, where the film’s first act will take place.

Highlighting the presence of Daniel Craig, Jeffrey Wright and Lashana Lynch, this footage presents plenty of slick visuals and some intense action moments, including ending with a massive fireball, which suggests that Bond’s time in Jamaica will be very intense.

Long time fans will know of the significance of Jamaica for the production as it’s where Bond creator and author Ian Fleming called home thanks to his Goldeneye estate and where the author wrote all Bond novels beginning in 1952.

Bond 25 is one of 2020’s most anticipated film’s and along with being Daniel Craig’s final appearance as Bond, the film also boasts a talented cast of supporting talent including Academy Award winner Rami Malek as the film’s as yet unnamed lead villain, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, Ben Whishaw as Q and Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, while new arrivals to the film include Ana de Armas, David Dencik, Dali Benssalah, Lashana Lynch and Billy Magnussen.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

With this incredible footage you can bet that I’m excited to see more from Bond 25 and it’s going to be one wild rush when it arrives in cinemas on April 9, 2020.
