Director Justin Lin is set to return to the franchise which he’s shepherded since 2006’s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and he’s again ready to take things to the next level.
Lin took to Instagram to mark the start of production in Hertfordshire, England, and the production is also set to start filming in Thailand with locations that include Krabi, Ko Pha-ngan and Phuket.

In a new update, Jordana Brewster is set to reprise her role as Mia Toretto, the wife of Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner and sister to Dominic Toretto, while John Cena is joining the film in a currently unannounced role.
