Director Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy, Oblivion) really floors it with the machismo here, and after watching this trailer you’ll absolutely be wanting to don a pair of aviators and a leather jacket, along with getting behind the throttle of a Kawasaki Ninja GPz900R, which also makes a return to the big screen here in Top Gun: Maverick.

Along with the hard-charging action of the F/A-18F Super Hornet that really bring the high speed here, Top Gun: Maverick will also focus on the relationship between Maverick and Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of Maverick’s late partner and best friend Goose (Anthony Edwards) who arrives at Top Gun as a trainee pilot.
