Here’s the full synopsis:

After losing the legal rights to their names over a film reboot of Bluntman and Chronic, Jay and Silent Bob travel across the United States in an attempt to prevent the reboot from being made.

Director Kevin Smith is ready to bring plenty of hilarity and a whole lot of star power to this sensational comedy which once again finds small time drug dealers Jay and Silent Bob traveling across America in a bid to stop the Bluntman and Chronic movie from being made….again.

Long-time fans of the cult classic Jay and Silent Bob characters will be familiar with the film’s narrative as for laughs, Smith is basically reusing his narrative from the first film although he’s updated it with plenty of comedic high-jinks to bring out the funny.

As to where Jay and Silent Bob are now, well they’re trying to open their own weed store and Jay learns from his one-time love Justice (Shannon Elizabeth) that he actually has a daughter named Millennium “Milly” Faulken (Harley Quinn Smith). With this new information Jay and Silent Bob’s mission to stop the Bluntman and Chronic movie from being filmed takes on even greater importance as Jay tries to reconnect and actually be a father to Milly.

Like it’s previous film, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot will be packed out with cameo appearances from previous View Askewniverse films that include Shannon Elizabeth as Justice, Brian O’Halloran as Dante Hicks/Grant Hick, Jason Lee as Brodie Bruce, Joey Lauren Adams as Alyssa Jones, Jennifer Schwalbach as Missy, Val Kilmer as himself/Bluntman, Melissa Benoist as herself/female Chronic, Ben Affleck as Bluntman and Chronic comic book creator Holden McNeil and Matt Damon as fallen angel Loki.

Other actors involved in the project include Justin Long, James Van Der Beek, Jason Biggs, Joe Manganiello, Craig Robertson, Ralph Garman, Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh, Method Man, Redman, Chris Jericho, Marc Bernardin, Molly Shannon, Scott Mosier, Chris Hemsworth, Rosario Dawson, Adam Brody, Dan Fogler, Tommy Chong, Brian Quinn, Karrueche Tran and Robert Kirkman.

Get ready to catch up with Jay and Silent Bob once more when Jay and Silent Reboot arrives in cinemas on October 15.
