The story centers around a group of strippers in New York City, led by an ambitious single mother, as they lie, steal, and hustle dozens of wealthy men when the sex industry bottoms out during the late-2000s financial crisis. A journalist covering the story for a magazine interviews one of the ringleaders and tries to figure out where it all went wrong.
If you’re looking for something wild then you’ll most definitely find it with Hustlers and this is a story that no writer could dream up, proving that reality is always ten times more crazier than fiction.
Alongside it’s neon glow, fast money, high fashion and scandalous sex appeal, Hustlers has also been very well received on the festival circuit following it’s world premiere at TIFF.
