Here’s the full synopsis:
Frank Sheeran is a World War 2 veteran and a former hitman for the mob. His time spent during the war in Italy made him a talented killer. To make ends meet, Frank utilizes his skills to become a hitman for the mob. Now in his old age, Frank reflects back on the moments and hits that defined his mob career. Especially his role in the disappearance of his old friend Jimmy Hoffa, a former president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters that went missing in 1975, never to be seen again.
Revolving around around one of America’s most shocking and confronting mysteries of all time in relation to the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. Scorsese digs deep into the shady lore of the mafia and is set to tell the true life story of Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheeran (Robert DeNiro), a former Teamsters Boss who moonlighted as a mob enforcer and hitman and who committed dozens of murders from the late 1950s through to the early 1980s.
Bristling with macho attitude, and running at over 3 hours, The Irishman is shaping up to be one hell of a cinematic treat and longtime film fans will be salivating for this one.
