When it comes to Hollywood’s reigning Hollywood king visionary director Christopher Nolan certainly holds that title at the moment. With every film the director embarks on the stakes are always raised and his last film, the ensemble war epic Dunkirk really left audiences speechless thanks to the craft and talent in which it was delivered.
Now Nolan is stepping back into the directors chair once again with his wildly ambitious film Tenet, and audiences can now get their first look at the film.
After arriving in theatres, this first look at Tenet has now made its way online and it certainly promises one hell of an ambitious cinematic experience:
While little is known about the actual film itself, it is sad to be ‘a film set in the world of international espionage and dealing with issues of time and evolution’.
This is text book Nolan, and with the director’s approach of focusing in on things from a slightly left-handed view I”m certain that we’ll get something thoroughly incredible here.
Budgeted at $225 million dollars and shooting in seven countries including Denmark, Estonia, India, Italy, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States, this is a blockbuster on a phenomenal scale and with its cast who includes the like of John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Kenneth Branagh and Nolan regular Michael Caine this is one film that I’m expecting very big things from.
Prepare yourselves for the monumental mind trip of Tenet when it arrives in cinemas next year on July 16, 2020.
