Here’s the official synopsis:
This retelling of the classic story follows Dracula from his origins in Eastern Europe to his battles with Van Helsing’s descendent and beyond.
Developed for television by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, Dracula looks like a fiendishly freaky miniseries and there’s Gothic horror galore on display here!
This new series, starring Danish thespian Claes Bang as Count Dracula, is really going to get under your skin and Bang appears to have crafted a portrayal of a character who has the cunning and hunger of a predatory serial killer and the screen will certainly run with blood with this one.
Packed out with thrills this rendition of Dracula will not be the faint of heart, and following on from our first look images of the series, it’s definitely one we’ll be keeping our eyes on.
Dracula will arrive on BBC and Netflix at the end of this year for Christmas 2019.
