Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Natasha Romanoff finds herself alone and forced to confront her past.
Of what the character of Black Widow and the upcoming movie means to her, Johansson said, “very few actors can say that they’ve worked on a character for 10 years and then suddenly have this chance to delve deep into the inner workings of this person.”
Marvel godfather Kevin Feige also commented on the importance on the film and how it has been in the pipeline for a long time and that now is the right time for a solo Black Widow film to reach the big screen. “There’s one movie that people have been asking us to make for a very long time, more so than any other film. The Black Widow movie.”
With its high intensity action, family drama and awesome cast of characters Black Widow is going to offer up audiences an incredible rush of a cinematic experience when it arrives in cinemas on April 30.
