Now he brings his unique vision to the Arthurian mythology with an innovative re-telling of Gawain and The Green Knight in The Green Knight.

A fantasy adventure based on the Arthurian legend, The Green Knight tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic green-skinned stranger.
Filled with dreamy images and the burning quest of chivalry, The Green Knight brings a grand scale to this centuries old tale and is sure to grip those who watch it. Dev Patel is given a great character to portray as Sir Gawain, a young and untested knight who must accept a great quest and in doing so confront the mysterious and otherworldly Green Knight (Ralph Ineson).
Along with the film’s beautiful visuals and haunting score, The Green Knight pulls audiences into an amazing re-imagining of the Arthurian myths, and focuses on a wide range of thematic elements from destiny and honour to fear and death.
Alongside Patel, Lowery has assembled a very impressive cast who include Joel Edgerton, Alicia Vikander and Sean Harris and Kate Dickie as King Arthur and Queen Guinevere.
