The action is cranked all the way up in final trailer for ‘Black Widow’

It’s one of 2020’s most anticipated blockbuster events and Marvel Studios is about to get 2020 rolling with the high-action, spy adrenaline rush of Black Widow.

A new trailer has just been released and it promises audiences plenty of incredible action set pieces, along with providing them with the definitive Black Widow narrative.

Watch the new trailer below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

Following the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016), Natasha Romanoff finds herself alone and forced to confront her past.

Building off of the previous teaser trailer, this new trailer finds Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) forced to confront her past in the most direct way as she discovers that The Red Room, the place where her superhero existence was created, is now in control of the deranged terrorist Taskmaster, and that he’s using a batch of newly created Widows, who are firmly under his control, to orchestrate a plan for world domination.

With nowhere left to turn, Natasha joins forces with her former ‘family’ including David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian; a former Russian super soldier, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova / Black Widow; a sister figure to Natasha who went through the Red Room school with her and Rachel Weisz as Melina / Black Widow; a seasoned spy who is guarding her own secrets, to take Taskmaster down.

Director Cate Shortland has dialled up the film’s action sequences, and Black Widow’s focus on high-end spy tech will appeal to fans of the Jason Bourne series. has also placed a real geo-political tension into the film, and the Black Widow’s history with The Cold War and it’s cat and mouse espionage is set to make things amazing for this new addition to the MCU.

Action fans are sure to get a kick out of Black Widow when it arrives in cinemas on April 30.
