Disney pushes release schedule forward

It’s long been expected that Walt Disney Pictures would be moving their 2020 release schedule out due to the threat of COVID-19 and now the company has released a list of brand new release dates for some of its biggest titles from Walt Disney Pictures, Marvel Studios and 20th Century Studios including Black Widow, Mulan, Jungle Cruise and The Eternals.

  • Mulan – March 26, 2020, now releasing July 24, 2020
  • Black Widow – April 30, 2020, now releasing November 6, 2020
  • Artemis Fowl – May 28, 2020 now releasing on Disney+, Date to Be Announced
  • Soul – June 18, 2020
  • Jungle Cruise – July 23, 2020, now releasing July 20, 2121
  • The King’s Man – September 18, 2020
  • Death on the Nile – October 9, 2020
  • Everybody’s Talking About Jamie – October 23, 2020
  • The Eternals – November 5, 2020, now releasing February 12, 2021
  • Deep Water – November 13, 2020
  • Free Guy – July 2, 2020, now releasing December 11, 2020
  • West Side Story – December 18, 2020
  • The Last Duel – December 25, 2020
  • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – February 12, 2021, now releasing May 7, 2021
  • Untitled Spider-Man: Far From Home Sequel – July 16, 2021
  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – May 7, 2021, now releasing November 5, 2021
  • Thor: Love and Thunder – November 5, 2021, now releasing February 18, 2022
  • Black Panther 2 – May 6, 2022
  • Untitled Captain Marvel Sequel – July 8, 2022

Everything keeps rapidly changing thanks to the COVID-19 crisis and for the next while it looks like things will be very quiet for movie lovers.

However we’ll come out of this eventually, and with a list of awesome releases like those ones above I’m certain that they’ll be a lot of fun to be had at the movies.
