Christopher Nolan’s Tenet remains as one of our most anticipated film’s of 2020, and so far it’s still on track for it’s July release, something that is remarkable considering the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on cinemas and film studios this year.
In a move to keep our spirits up, Nolan has released a selection of new images that give an added taste of what is to come in this unique science fiction-espionage-spy thriller which will seriously spin audiences for a loop.
The new images highlight rising star John David Washington who has been cast as Nolan’s mysterious new protagonist, a secret agent who is tasked with a clandestine task to prevent World War III through time travel.
Nolan is keeping his cards close to the chest with this Tenet, but from it’s first teaser trailer it’s clear that Tenet is going to be an epic watch, and will be Nolan’s most ambitious film to date with filming taking place on seven continents including Denmark, Estonia, India, Italy, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Alongside Washington as the film’s star, we also get a look at Tenet supporting cast who include Robert Pattinson as a fellow operative assigned to work alongside Washington, and Elizabeth Debicki whom portrays a mysterious socialite who is central to the film’s narrative.
With any luck Tenet will be able to make it’s July 16 release date, and if so it would be one very cool surprise for film fans who are aching for a return to the big screen.
