Wright has been keeping pretty tight lipped about the project, but has described that it is best described as a psychological horror-thriller and was inspired by films such as Don’t Look Now and Repulsion.
Here’s the official synopsis:
The film follows a young girl, who is passionate about fashion design, who mysteriously enters the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it seems, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences.
Wright is a filmmaker that you always needs to pay attention to and the arrival of Last Night in Soho next year is sure to be a magnificent cinematic event.
Last Night in Soho will arrive in cinemas on April 23, 2021.
