That’s right the Man without Fear is headed back to Marvel, and a date with the MCU is likely be shaped up down the line.

While the critically acclaimed Netflix series series starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil aired it’s final season in, the rights where reverted back to Marvel. However due to a contract agreement, Marvel Studios have not been able to use the character in any for at least 18 months.

Now confirmed by MovieWeb, six months from now, Daredevil will once again be on the table for Marvel Studios to do what they wish with, but I think it will be sometime before we actually see the character appear either on the big screen or on Disney+.

While there has been considerable movement to resurrect the Daredevil television series and to continue it on Disney+ with the fans, it’s unlikely that this will continue. Even though the series final third season saw much acclaim from fans, I’m thinking it’s very likely that Marvel will continue down this route and will instead look to reinvent the classic character for the big screen with a future MCU entry instead.

I’ll be keeping my eyes on this one, as Daredevil is my favourite Marvel character, alongside Wolverine, and I’m excited to see where this goes from here.
