Evil returns with ‘Halloween Kills’


They say you can never really destroy evil, and if there’s any character in horror cinema that is the walking embodiment of this trope it is most definitely homicidal serial killer Michael Myers. Brought back to life with a terrifying new energy in 2018’s Halloween!

Now in a special treat returning director and the maestro himself, John Carpenter, have offered up fans a terrifying new look into the upcoming sequel, Halloween Kills, with a brand new teaser. Check it out below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

The next entry in the revived Halloween franchise, following Laurie Strode and her family as they are once again forced to confront the psychotic and murderous serial killer Michael Myers.

Gordon Green and his creative team have been hard at work on the Halloween sequels, which include Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends and follow on the newly established canon that has been set out by Blumhouse Films. While production have wrapped on Halloween Kills, the on-going COVID-19 pandemic has cut short production on Halloween Ends, and also lead to push of Halloween Kills release date.

In a joint statement released on Instagram, Gordon Green and Carpenter asked that audiences hold tight for just a little longer and announced a new release date for October 15, 2021.

This first teaser for Halloween Kills amps up the horror and the sense of foreboding that is sure to follow with the sequel and an impressive cast is ready to return for the sequel alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer and Andi Matichak, which includes Anthony Michael Hall, Kyle Richards, Nancy Stephens and Charles Cyphers.

Get ready for a brand new level of horror when Halloween Kills arrives in cinemas on October 15, 2021.
