Here’s the official synopsis:
Now enduring the monotony of middle-aged life, William “Bill” S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan are warned by a visitor from the future of the need for them to create a song in 78 minutes that will save all life on Earth and the entire universe. The pair work with their families, old friends, famous musicians, and each other to complete the task.
Packed together with plenty of nostalgia, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winters sure do seem to be having a blast as they get back together and re-interpret these classic characters, who haven’t really changed one bit, and who now more than ever need to take on some responsibility and fulfill their destiny once and for all.
This time aiding them in their journey to compose the world’s greatest rock song are their daughters Wilhelmina Billie “Little Bill” Logan (Brigette Lundy-Paine) and Theodora Thea “Little Ted” Preston (Samara Weaving). Then there’s also their old friend Death (William Sadler), who once again finds himself embroiled with Bill and Ted’s latest mission.
There’s plenty to be excited about with the return of Bill and Ted, and Bill and Ted Face The Music is sure to be a wild time, both for fans of the original series looking for that nostalgia fix, along with newbies who will be introduced to the rocking duo!
Bill and Ted Face the Music will arrive IN CINEMAS on August 30.
