We’re all about the multiple online panels that are a part of this year’s Comic Con At Home experience, and one of the most interesting films being promoted is Adam Egypt Mortimer’s Archenemy which will star Joe Manganiello as its lead character Max Fist.
A unique production courtesy of Legion M, a fan run crowdfunding platform and Elijah Wood’s horror production house, SpectreVision, Archenemy is set to bring a serious edge to the superhero genre with a brand new vision.
The Legion M panel highlighted aspects of their platform, along with going in-depth on Archenemy. Check it out below:
Here’s the official synopsis:
Max Fist (Joe Manganiello), who claims to be a hero from another dimension who fell through time and space to earth, where he has no powers. No one believes his stories except for a local teen named Hamster (Skylan Brooks).
In a special appearance from Manganiello himself, the actor discussed just how Archenemy would differ from other superhero action films describing the film as “”, and being influenced by the style of writers such as Alan Moore, Grant Morrison and Frank Miller, before debuting the new teaser trailer for the film:
It’s an intense trailer and Manganiello looks to have completely committed to the role and this is gonna be one gnarly new watch!
No release date has been set for Archenemy yet, but it will likely debut either late 2020 or early 2021.
