Tom Holland walks into plenty of sinister thrills in the all new thriller The Devil All the Time, and this could very well be his best performance to date in what looks like a twisted masterpiece of the psychological thriller genre.
Watch the intense new trailer below:
Here’s the official synopsis:
In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, sinister characters — an unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson), twisted couple (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family.
Based on the best-selling novel by Donald Ray Pollock, The Devil All the Time has attracted some incredible talent to it’s roster with the likes of Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Eliza Scanlen, Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson, and it’s creepy ambience and committed performances are sure to keep audiences on edge.
Holland headlines the cast as young roughen delinquent Arvin Russell, and his performance and intensity marks this out as what could very well be his best performance today. Mix in a scarred up performance from Bill Skarsgard and Robert Pattinson at his craziest and you’ve got something that will seriously keep audiences on edge and guessing the whole time.
The Devil All the Time will arrive on Netflix on September 18.
