Marvel Studios has just found their newest villain with Ethan Hawke confirmed to be taking on the role of the chief antagonist in their newest Dinsey+ series Moon Knight which starts shooting in March.
Hawke will face off against Oscar Issac’s (who is still officially to be confirmed in the series, but who has been highly rumoured for the part) rogue, and possibly insane superhero Marc Spector/Moon Knight and this will be a very interesting confrontation for the two performers.
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Hawke is actively working on a deal to join the series and at this moment is still unclear whom he will play in the series.
Once his deal is confirmed, Hawke will join a series that will soon shoot in Budapest and which is to be overseen by directors Mohamed Diab and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
May Calamawy has also been confirmed to be joining the series, although as yet her role is still to be revealed.
The proposition of Ethan Hawke being an active part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I’m very excited to see what he brings to the table in the new series as its lead villain.
Moon Knight will arrive on Disney+ soon as a part of Marvel Studios Phase 4 releases in 2022.
