Here’s the official synopsis:
In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.
Set following the events of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, a war is about to rage as two primordial titans, Godzilla and Kong face off against one another with one another, with humanity caught in the crossfire. But there lies the mystery. As we’ve come to know both these titans as guardian protectors of Earth’s eco-system, so why now would they want to battle? These questions and more will be answered in Godzilla vs Kong.
Alongside these brawling legends, director Adam Wingard has pulled together an incredible supporting cast that includes the likes of newcomers like Alexander Skarsgard as geologist Nathan Lind and Rebecca Hall as scientist Ilene Andrews, while Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler return as Madison and Dr. Mark Russel from Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
The MonsterVerse has been building since 2014’s Godzilla, and following the likes of 2017’s Kong: Skull Island and 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, we’ve now arrived at the endgame point that will pitch two titans against one another and director Adam Wingard is bringing a colossal beast down to audiences that is sure to make cinemas quake with action!
Get ready for a rumble when Godzilla vs Kong arrives in cinemas on March 25.
