One of 2021’s most anticipated upcoming animated film is Walt Disney’s animation’s Raya and the Last Dragon, and this magical fantasy adventure is filled with magic, martial arts, epic quests and best friends and will make for an awesome piece of cinema for Disney fans.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Raya and the Last Dragon takes us on an exciting, epic journey to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya (Kelly Marie Tran), to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well.

Directors Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada have created something very cool and unique for Disney fans with Raya and the mystical world of Kumandra promises to be land of fun and adventure, but also a place filled with danger as Raya, and her team of friends, have to outsmart dangers at every turn.

Following on the from the first teaser, this new trailer gives audiences a great overview of the epicness that awaits with Raya and the Last Dragon, along with giving us our first look at the hilarious Sisu (Awkwafina), a water dragon who is the last of her kind, and who is Raya’s only help of bringing peace to the land of Kumandra…which is easier said than done thanks to Sisu’s hilarious antics.

Packed out with bold adventure and action, alongside some amazing animated sequences,
Raya and the Last Dragon is a film that audiences can be truly excited for.
