The final trailer for ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ is here
Hot-off the heels of the awesomeness that was Disney+’s WandaVision, which enthralled audiences for 9 weeks with its original storytelling, clever production and further exploration of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an entirely new medium.
Now, in just a few days time, audiences will be able to witness a new chapter on Diseny+ with the arrival of the mega-blockbuster action series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and this one is gonna be a real rollercoaster of epic television.
Check out the final trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier below:
Here’s the official synopsis:
After being handed the mantle of Captain America at the end of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson teams up with Bucky Barnes in a worldwide adventure that puts their abilities to the test as they fight the anarchist group the Flag-Smashers.
Showing the mismatched pairing of Sam ‘The Falcon’ Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky ‘The Winter Soldier’ Barnes (Sebastian Stan), as they have to put aside their differences to combat a brutal new terrorist organization who call themselves the Flag Smashers, and who are intent on burning the world to a cinder in order to build their new world order. And behind their brutal assault on the values of freedom and democracy is the sinister and calculating Baron Helmut Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) who is hellbent on exacting an act of very personal revenge.
Pulling together the high-end tech thriller genre with the buddy-cop humour of 1980s classics such as 48 Hours and Lethal Weapon, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is essentially a six-hour action movie come to life on Disney+, and audiences are going to be pumped for this one.
This final trailer really gives us a terrific insight into what we can expect from the series and audiences are presented with deep themes of comradeship, honour, justice and freedom, and this series will examine what it really means to carry the shield.
Alongside the new trailer, we’ve also been treated to a host of new clips showcasing just how irritable Wilson and Barnes can be as co-workers, and there’s definitely going to be some cold humour in this series.
Brace yourselves and get ready for the excitement of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier when it arrives on Disney+ on March 19.
