Fashion gets frightening in new trailer for ‘Cruella’
We’re very excited to see the origins of the dastardly and diabolical Cruella de Vil in Cruella starring Academy Award winner Emma Stone and with the film’s release confirmed for May 27 both IN CINEMAS and on Disney+ we now have a brand new look at the film with an all-new trailer darlings!

Here’s the official synopsis:
Cruella, which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella (Emma Stone), a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute. But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable, and revenge-bent Cruella.
Building off of the first trailer and spot and teasing out the confrontation between Emma Stone’s Estella ‘Cruella” DeVil and her mentor turned archnemesis Baroness von Hellman (Emma Thompson), the catwalk is set to become a battleground as these two women prepare to go to war and turn each other’s lives upside down in a desperate bid to out-do the other.
Director Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya, Fright Night) is taking the reigns with Cruella and he’s promising something very special with this one and in Cruella, we’re getting our first-ever look into a Disney ‘villain movie” as we get to learn just how the forceful evil of Cruella de Vil was created.
Emma Stone again brings her A-game as the crafty and cunning Cruella and there are no boundaries that she won’t push in order to climb to the top of the fashion world, and it’s a part and a character that we’ve never seen Stone play before, and it’s sure to keep things very interesting for audiences.
Cruella is set to be one of Disney’s biggest and most daring productions of 2021 and Disney fans are going to be very excited to see all the diabolical fun that Cruella de Vil is about to bring to audiences when Cruella arrives IN CINEMAS and on Disney+ on May 27. And remember darlings…..it’s going to be diabolical.
