The shield weighs heavy in epic mid-season trailer for ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’
Things got chilling in the most recent episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, ‘The Whole World Is Watching’, and with just two episodes to go, Marvel Studios have released an incredible new trailer that promises an intense fight to come to determine whom will truly wield the shield.

Things have definitely gotten more complicated by the episode in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and the black and white world that existed back in 1944 is now gone, and instead, our characters exist in an entirely murky grey world. While Wyatt Russell’s John Walker, the new Captain America crossed a line in his duties, and Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes could only watch on in horror, the true test of what this heroic symbol of the shield is yet to be seen and the battle lines are being drawn.
This new trailer promises an incredible amount of upcoming action and makes a firm statement that an intense war will be fought between Sam, Bucky and Walker as to who holds sway over the shield, and this trailer is sure to send a shiver down the spines of Marvel fans who are looking for a show-stopping beat down.
For four weeks now we have seen The Falcon and the Winter Soldier present an interesting portrait of freedom and militarization, and it’s very interesting to see how ideas of the War on Terrorism have influenced the series and the choices of its characters. Director Kari Skogland, showrunner Malcolm Spellman and featured writer Derek Kolstad have set the bar high for the intense drama of this series, and episode by episode a mounting tension has been building and it’s all about to spill over in these epic next two episodes.
