Following the epicness that was Zack Snyder’s Justice League and an awesome first teaser-trailer for Army of the Dead, we now have the full trailer for the director’s upcoming crazy-tale of mercs, money and zombies and Army of the Dead looks like it will be a crazy amount of fun.

Watch the brand new trailer below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

A group of mercenaries plot a heist on a Las Vegas casino during a zombie outbreak.

Set to an amped-up version of Kenny Roger’s country classic ‘The Gambler’, Army of the Dead promises to be a high-intensity action-zombie shoot em’up packed together with plenty of carnage as former Special Forces soldier turned one-time mercenary Scott Ward (Dave Bautista), is lured into a tremendous gamble to loot what remains of Las Vegas’s cash supply after a zombie apocalypse breaks out and the U.S. Government is intent on nuking the entire state to contain this new plague. But Scott also has a second motivation, and that’s to save his wayward daughter Kate (Ella Purnell), who has gone missing inside the city, and things get even crazier from there.

Zack Snyder is a director who’s always willing to turn the volume up on every single new project he takes on, and his latest work is really dialled up thanks to his brand new interpretation of the zombie genre, which finds Scott, Kate and the rest of his crew facing off against hyper-intelligent zombies who aren’t about to be taken out….and things will no doubt get very messy from here.

There’s an awesome level of creativity unleashed here and the results are sure to please long time fans of Snyder’s work, alongside those who of the zombie horror genre, and I’m sure they’ll be a few twists and turns that we don’t see coming with this one.

Army of the Dead looks absolutely insane on every single level and I’m certain that audiences will be amped for what comes next courtesy of Zack Snyder’s crazy filmmaking vision when it arrives on Netflix on May 21.
