One of 2021’s most anticipated upcoming horror movies is Spiral: From the Book of Saw and this one is set to be a dark and dangerous new addition to the Saw franchise that is set to totally change up everything we know about the Saw Universe.
Following on from the intense new trailer we now have a brand new look at plenty of new footage courtesy of 21 Savage’s new video for Spiral’s self-titled theme song and its about to get super freaky with this new horror-thriller.
Watch the all-new music video for 21 Savage’s ‘Spiral’ title track below:
Here’s the official synopsis:
Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner William Schenk (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly trapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
while much of the footage finds 21 Savage in an assortment of grimy locations as he handles a variety of bladed weapons we also get a look into some gnarly footage featuring Chris Rock’s Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks as he falls into the twisted games of a new copycat thriller who idolizes Jigsaw and is set to make a name for themselves.
Returning director Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV) is bringing his unique creativity back to the horror genre with this new production and his focus is placed on a film that is driven more by terror and murder-mystery thrills than just straight-out gore. Story and character are taking centre stage in Spiral and we have absolutely no idea just where this one is about to go here.
Spiral: From the Book of Saw is set to arrive in cinemas on May 13.
