A burnt-out Michael Bryce (Reynolds) is pulled into a mad-cap dash to save hitman, and his one-time client Darius Kincaid (Jackson), by his wife Sonia (Hayek), in a crazy action-comedy adventure.
Building off of the first teaser trailer, this brand new trailer amps things up as former AAA bodyguard Michael Bryce, on sabbatical and trying to escape the close personal protection business, finds himself drawn into an over-the-top conspiracy courtesy of one-time frenemy Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson), and he’s thrust into protecting and working with Darius’s totally loco wife Sonia (Salma Hayek) to help get Darius back from a meglomaniac (Antonio Banderas) who has ideas of world domination.
Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek are all back for this much watch sequel and are joined by a stellar supporting casting including Frank Grillo, Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman and this sequel looks utterly wild.
Director Patrick Hughes takes the unexpected and totally insane action-comedy of the first film that we loved so much and has double-downed on the energy and fun with this much watch sequel and I’m certain that audiences are going to love the energy, action and comedy that these three mismatched characters will bring in this all-new adventure.
Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is set to arrive in cinemas on June 24.
