Hollywood megastar Chris Pratt is ready to bring out the big guns, and plenty of ammo will be spent in The Tomorrow War, an all-out science-fiction, action extravaganza that will be sure to level up your adrenaline.

Watch the final trailer for The Tomorrow War now:

Here’s the official synopsis:

In The Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travellers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.

Ste in both the present and 30 years in the future in 2051, The Tomorrow War follows former Army Ranger and now family man Dan Forester (Pratt) as he is drafted into a brutal future that will determine the ultimate survival of the human race from a dangerous, and hungry, new alien force that has invaded earth. Pratt looks in his element here in The Tomorrow War and we get to see both his everyman quality, alongside his action man energy, come out in full in the new trailer.

This new trailer also gives us a deeper look into the presence of J.K. Simmons’ Slade Forester, Dan’s estranged father whom he entrusts with the care of his family, while he is sent to fight, and Simmons definitely looks bulky thanks to his intense gym routine.

We also get a greater look into the action on offer here in The Tomorrow War and for fans who are looking for a good dose of run and gun action, well, they’ll be in for a real treat as director Chris McKay offers up some epic level set pieces that will have you amped and ready to see some alien’s get smashed!

Brace yourself for an intense adrenaline rush when The Tomorrow War arrives on Amazon Prime on July 2.
