Here’s the official synopsis:

Set during the early 20th century, a riverboat captain named Frank takes a British scientist and her brother on a mission into a jungle to find the Tree of Life, which is believed to possess healing powers that could be of great benefit to modern medicine. All the while, the trio must fight against dangerous wild animals, a hot and deadly environment, and a competing German expedition that is determined to find the tree first.

Throughout the filming of Jungle Cruise, both Johnson and Blunt have gone back on forth on who’s the bigger star and more important character, and the results have been hilarious. Now still battling it out, the two stars have released two new trailers for Jungle Cruise that give key insights into their characters: Frank Wolff (Johnson); a bombastic conman, yet still noble steamboat captain who needs a bit of a break, and Dr. Lily Houghton (Blunt) an ambitious scientist and would-be adventurer in search of a guide to take her up river to uncover the legend of the Tree of Life. Both trailers are packed out with key character moments and there’s plenty of fun going on in this one.

Jungle Cruise is shaping up to be an extremely fun ride, and long time Disney fans will be in for a rush as this film captures that quintessential adventurous energy, and this strong mix of action, comedy and adventure is sure to lead to plenty of fun moments on screen.
