Have you ever pondered the question….what if? Well, that’s exactly where Marvel Studios is about to take the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a brand new and completely bold animated series What If…?, which will showcase the MCU in a brand new light that none of us could ever have imagined.

The brand new trailer for What If…? has arrived and it is simply marvellous to look upon. Watch it NOW:

Here’s the official synopsis:

The series explores what would happen if major moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe occurred differently.

Featuring beautifully rendered cel-shaded animation which brings to life an all-new vision and which was overseen by animated supervisor Stephan Franck and developed with Ryan Meinerding, the head of visual development at Marvel Studios to best showcase the cinematic depth of the MCU, the visuals that we get to witness here are simply out of this world, and the resulting episodes are sure to leave a big impression on audiences all over the globe.

Anchoring the series is the character of Uatu/The Watcher, an extraterrestrial and member of the Watchers who will showcase brand new realms of the MCU to audiences and who is voiced by the all-around exceptional performer Jeffrey Wright.

While the events of the trailer for What If…? arrive quickly we do get to see new moments from the Multiverse that include Hayley Atwell’s super-powered, super-soldier Captain Carter, a buddy comedy involving a team-up between Tony Stark and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), Chadwick Boseman as an intergalactic space pirate named T’Challa/Star-Lord and Sebastian Stan as James ‘Bucky’ Barnes who is going zombie-hunting.

The images and storytelling that we witness within this first trailer for What If…? look utterly amazing and promise an incredible new multiverse that I am utterly ready to explore.
