Go behind the legacy of ‘The King’s Man’ in new featurette
One of 2021’s most anticipated action movies is director Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man, and after some time without any significant news, we can now confirm that an awesome new feature has arrived which gives an insight into the new film and its connection to the larger franchise.
Take a look at it now:
Here’s the official synopsis:
As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man.
The new featurette is extremely exciting as it gives us some fantastic new details regarding the cast including confirming the character of Orlando Oxford, Duke of Oxford and founder of the Kingsman agency who of course is being portrayed by acting legend Ralph Fiennes. From the very announcement of The King’s Man the appearance of Fiennes has gotten us extremely excited and he gives Oxford a grand adventurer quality that is akin to the likes of Scott and Shackleton and I’m excited to see him in action in this one.
Then there’s also the film’s WWI setting which is definitely going to keep things interesting and with a terrific cast who include Gemma Arterton as Polly, Harris Dickinson as Conrad, Djimon Hounsou as Shola, Matthew Goode as The Shepherd, Tom Hollander as King George V, Kaiser Wilhelm II and Tsar Nicholas II and Rhys Ifans as Rasputin. This mixture of history and action is sure to keep things interesting and I’m very excited to see what happens from here.
Get ready for an epic level of excitement when The King’s Man arrives in cinemas on January 1, 2022.
