Here’s the official synopsis:
Imprisoned convicts of Belle Reve penitentiary are sent as members of Task Force X to the South American island of Corto Maltese to destroy Jotunheim, a Nazi-era prison and laboratory which held political prisoners and conducted experiments.
Labelled as ‘a master’ by Suicide Squad lead Idris Elba, Gunn is absolutely on fire when it comes to The Suicide Squad and has produced something completely outrageous and fun that audiences will be very excited to witness up on screen.
‘The movie’s gigantic, I mean it really is the biggest movie I’ve ever made,” said Gunn. “And I wanted to do most of it practically and we did.”
The new featurette gives us a key insight into Gunn’s process as a director, including on set footage of him at work, and it’s evident that he’s in absolute control of his environment and the action that he unleashes within this picture.
Alongside the new trailer focusing on Gunn, IMAX has also released a new promo that takes audiences inside the scale, size and scope of The Suicide Squad and damn does this look impressive! Check it out below:
