The majesty of ‘Dune’ arrives in final trailer
When it comes to 2021’s biggest blockbuster of the year it’s clear that Denis Villeneuve’s Dune is that movie. And now we have a final epic trailer for audiences to look upon.

In the far future of humanity, Duke Leto Atreides accepts stewardship of the dangerous desert planet Arrakis, also known as Dune, the only source of the most valuable substance in the universe, “melange” (also called “spice”), a drug that extends human life, provides superhuman levels of thought, and makes faster-than-light travel practical. Though Leto knows the opportunity is an intricate trap set by his enemies, he takes his Bene Gesserit concubine Lady Jessica, young son and heir Paul, and most trusted advisors to Arrakis. Leto takes control of the spice mining operation, which is made perilous by the presence of giant sandworms. A bitter betrayal leads Paul and Jessica to the Fremen, natives of Arrakis who live in the deep desert.
The final trailer presents an amazing new amount of gorgeous new footage for audiences to look upon and really places the audience in a mindset for an unbelievably epic piece of cinema. There’s a tremendous sense of scale and size in this new trailer and it builds on that promise that Dune will be an epic for our time.
Along with the new trailer, Dune star Jason Momoa who stars as Duncan Idaho, a swordmaster sworn to protect the House of Atreides and who is very much a knight/samurai warrior of pure honour and skill has released a brand new video on his very popular YouTube channel which takes audiences inside the making of Dune, which Momoa has called one of the greatest creative experiences of his life.
