Take your first look at ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ (Part One)

2018’s Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse was a cinematic work of art that took audiences by storm and brought comic book presentation and storytelling to audiences around the world and audiences were salivating for more adventures featuring new Spider-Man Miles Morales.

Well, they’re going to get their wish with the newly announced sequel Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (Part One) and audiences were treated to a sneak peek at the new film over the weekend.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.

The footage is absolutely amazing to witness and finds Miles interacting with love interest Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Woman (Hailee Steinfeld) along with getting tangled up in a scuffle with Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac) An alternate version of Spider-Man from the future.

We’re only scratching the surface with this first bit of footage it’s clear to me that audiences are going to be in for one hell of a ride thanks to directors Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson and I think the Spider-Verse is about to really creative and dynamic thanks to their incredible filmmaking vision.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (Part One) will arrive in cinemas on September 29, 2022.
