With Gellert Grindelwald’s power rapidly growing, Albus Dumbledore entrusts Newt Scamander and his friends with a mission leading to a clash with Grindelwald’s army. Dumbledore must also keep track of how long he will stay on the sidelines in the approaching war.
Building off of the previous trailer, this new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore throws audiences directly into the action as Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) readies to face the forces of the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen), along with coming face to face with his past and the mystery of Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller) who has been revealed as Dumbledore’s long-lost sibling Aurelius.
Packed full of magical special effects, rising action and globe-trotting adventure, long time Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts filmmaker David Yates continues to spin his trademark sense of magic here, and there’s so much to be excited about thanks to Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
This new film has the pacing and intensity of a solid caper-style film, and it will be fun to see how a new decade of history is leaning more into the rise of WWII and there’s plenty for all those witches and wizards to be excited about here.
