Here’s the official synopsis:
With Gellert Grindelwald’s power rapidly growing, Albus Dumbledore entrusts Newt Scamander and his friends with a mission leading to a clash with Grindelwald’s army. Dumbledore must also keep track of how long he will stay on the sidelines in the approaching war.
Taking inspiration from the classic ‘team on a mission’ narrative, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore introduces audiences to Albus Dumbledore’s (Jude Law) first army as they take on the growing danger and fear of the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelson) who is ready to unleash a dangerous form of sorcery upon the world and bring on a New World Order of magical power and darkness.
Director David Yates has really focused on making Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore a globe-trotting adventure and audiences can expect a solid rush as audiences are taken from Britain to the United States, followed by Bhutan, Germany, and China as the world is on the brink of World War II. The action and team-lead narrative looks impressive and Visual Effects supervisor Christian Manz is promising the best on-screen visual effects seen in a Potter film since 2007’s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, so watch out because Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore is set to be quite the spectacle.
There’s plenty of new footage present in the trailer and from a daring globe-trotting mission to some very elegant production design and costuming, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore is shaping up to be all-star blockbuster of the finest presentation.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore is fun for the whole family and with its fast-paced narrative of friendship, honour, hope, loyalty and a willingness to conquer evil, along with plenty of magic and all the fun of the Wizarding World, this is a film you’re going to want to see on the BIG SCREEN when it arrives in cinemas on April 7, 2022.
