Take your first look at Marvel Studios’ ‘Ms Marvel’

Get ready for the introduction of a brand new superhero in Marvel Studios Ms. Marvel as audiences are introduced to New Jersey teenager Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) as she stumbles onto her powers and sets out to become the hero she’s always fantasised about becoming.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a fan of the Avengers, particularly Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), struggles to fit in until she gains her own powers.

Set to The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’, this new teaser trailer for Ms. Marvel is filled with pumped-up energy and focuses on the fantasy life that Kamala gets to live when she suddenly develops superpowers. Ms Marvel is again focusing on the long-standing tradition of Marvel’s teenage superheroes and we really get to see her family and school life play into her origin as she takes the next steps to become a superhero.

This first trailer really gives audiences a snapshot of what is to come in Ms. Marvel and it sets up a very intriguing concept for the Marvel Cinematic Universe with this look at a more grounded-level superhero and Kamala’s mission to learn to conquer her powers and make a difference as Ms Marvel.

Get ready for plenty of action and the rise of a brand new superheroine as we walk into the next chapter of the MCU in Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel which will arrive on Disney+ on June 8.
