Regarded as one of 2022’s must-see movie events, sensational filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, the genius behind Romeo+ Juliet, Australia and The Great Gatsby is ready to return to the big screen with his musical biography of The King of Rock ’n’ Roll himself, Elvis Presley, in Elvis and it’s shaping up to be an unmissable cinematic event.

After debuting his cast at this year’s star-studded Met Gala, now debuting is an all-new clip titled, ‘Hayride’ which showcases Presley’s debut performance and the power that his hips and groove had over an entire generation of women and which changed music in one single swoop.

This clip was first shared by Elvis’s former wife Priscilla Presley on her social media, who said:” I’ve seen Elvis the film, I watched the trailer over a dozen times. But the words I heard from my daughter on how much she loved the film and that Riley will love it too when she sees it brought tears. I relived every moment in this film. It took me a few days to overcome the emotions as it did with Lisa. Beautifully done Baz, Tom, Austin and Olivia.

The film chronicles the life and career of singer and actor Elvis Presley, from his early days as a child to becoming a rock and roll and movie star, as well as his complex relationship with his manager Colonel Tom Parker.

With an all-star cast that includes Austin Butler as Elvis Presley, Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis’ manager, Helen Thomson as Gladys Presley, Elvis’ mother, Richard Roxburgh as Vernon Presley, Elvis’ father, Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla Presley, Elvis’ wife, Luke Bracey as Jerry Schilling, David Wenham as Hank Snow and Josh McConville as Sam Phillips, and which is powered by the incredible vision of Baz Luhrmann, Elvis is shaping up to be an incredible and unmissable cinematic event.
