Get ready for a brand new colourful adventure thanks to the geniuses at Walt Disney Animation with Strange World, an all-new fantasy film that will take audiences on a fantastical escape.

The Clades are a legendary family of explorers whose differences threaten to topple their latest and most crucial mission into uncharted and treacherous territory.

Celebrated Disney filmmaker Don Hall, the director of Moana and Raya and the Last Dragon brings another exciting animated feature to the big screen for audiences with Walt Disney Animations’ Strange World. Taking inspiration from pulp serials and classic adventure stories, Hall and his creative team find new ground for a classic twist on the adventure genre. Twists and turns await in this grand story, but at its heart Hall focuses his story on The Clades, a family of legendary adventurers who face their greatest evil challenge as they journey into the heart of their world of Avalonia in order to save it. Hall’s creativity leads to some wonderful animation and Strange World has this great story books quality and colour to its imagery.

Hall gets to work with a stunning cast of talent in Strange World including Jake Gyllenhaal as Searcher Clade, Dennis Quaid as Jaeger Clade, Jaboukie Young-White as Ethan Clade, Gabrielle Union as Meridian Clade and Lucy Liu as Callisto Mal. While family conflict and strife find their place in this story, Strange World is ultimately a journey of the Clades having to work together to save their world, and we see each of their unique talents come into play as they learn of the secrets that lie at the heart of Avalonia. Younger fans will also fall in love with the Clades’ shaggy sheepdog Legend, and the mischievous and funny creature Splat and both Legend and Splat are fantastic parts of this feature.

Imagination and creativity are at the very core of Strange World, and there’s a great secret that is revealed in the third act that audiences won’t see coming. Hall and his creative team really get to do something different and interesting with this feature, and the adventurous moments of Strange World will make you look up in awe. Mixed in with the adventure beats of the story is a great bit of comedy as well, and they’re are moments that will have you giddy.

Strange World is a bold new piece of Disney entertainment and there’s plenty of fun to be had in this picture. So hold on tight and jump on into this very fun adventure.
