Cocaine Bear. Yes, you’re reading that right, and it’s the film you absolutely have to see as actress-turned-director Elizabeth Banks returns behind the camera for this full-on, crazy true-story thriller about an American Black Bear that unintentionally ingested cocaine and then goes on a murderous rampage through the backwoods of Kentucky. In a Kentucky forest, an American black bear goes on a murderous rampage after unintentionally ingesting cocaine.

Pulling from the true life story of a black bear that unintentionally ingested cocaine after a drug haul gone wrong, director Elizabeth Banks takes audiences back to the 1980s, and the untouched wilderness of Kentucky, as a group of drug dealers finds their stash raided by a 300kg American Black Bear, and which cocked out of its mind goes one hell of a rampage.

Mixing together white-knuckle scares with laugh-out-loud comedy, Cocaine Bear is shaping up to be an absolute genius bit of cinema, and this is a film that demands to be seen in cinemas. This trailer is an utter rush from beginning to end and audiences will be in for one hell of a ride with this new feature.
