Here’s the official synopsis:

In 1969, American archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) lives against the backdrop of the Space Race. Jones had started to feel doubts when the U.S. Government recruited former World War II enemies in their desperation to beat the Soviet Union out in the competition to make it to space. His goddaughter, Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), accompanies him on his journey. Meanwhile, Voller (Mads Mikkekson), a NASA member and ex-Nazi involved with the moon-landing program, wishes to make the world into a better place as he sees fit.

Noted filmmaker James Mangold steps into the director chair for Indiana Jones’s latest adventure in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and he brings his gung-ho energy and creativity to what is shaping up to be a very exciting film. Matched with Harrison Ford, the two craft a film that is action-packed and brings a bold new energy to the franchise as we move into the late 1960s and deal with the dark secrets behind the space race.

This teaser trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is a fantastic watch and showcases some amazing de-aging technology that Mangold has employed to showcase the adventures of a younger Jones in the film’s prologue. There’s also the presence of an incredible supporting cast that includes the likes of Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Helena; Jones’ goddaughter, John Rhys-Davies as Sallah, Mads Mikkelsen as Voller; a former Nazi during World War II who has been hired by NASA, Shaunette Renée Wilson as Mason; a government agent and Boyd Holbrook as Klaber; a nefarious and crazed lapdog of Voller’s.

The first impression that we get from this trailer is that Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is packed full of everything we could want out of an Indiana Jones film, and it’s set to be a fantastic ride for fans of the franchise and the character.
