Here’s the official synopsis:
Set in the present-day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross (Martin Freeman), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and the Skrull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.
Dubbed the ‘Threat’ trailer, this new look at Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion angle sin on the series’ conspiracy thriller angle and ramps up the spy thrills that come with an imminent Alien invasion. Mixing together elements of The Bourne Identity with Invasion of the Body Snatchers leads us to think that this series will have plenty of twists and turns packed in and it’s going to be one EXPLOSIVE watch.
