Worlds collide as an epic new trailer arrives for The Flash, a colossal superhero opus that is about to change everything you know about the DCEU.

Watch the brand-new trailer for The Flash below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

Barry Allen / The Flash (Ezra Miller) travels back in time to prevent his mother’s murder, which traps him in an alternate reality without metahumans. He enlists the help of Batman (Michael Keaton) and the Kryptonian castaway Supergirl (Sasha Calle) from alternate realities in order to save this world from the restored General Zod (Michael Shannon) and return to his universe.

Prepare yourself for the ultimate clash of worlds as The Flash is ready to crack open the DCEU, and it’s going to be one awe-inspiring watch! Director Andy Muschietti has poured all of his concentration and thought into this awe-inspiring piece of superhero cinema and everything you know about the DCEU is about to change.

Ezra Miller is on double duty as two versions of Barry Allen, who are thrown together when Barry jumps back through time and undoes the very existence of the DCEU with cataclysmic results. We also see the return of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman who is there to provide a sense of action-packed guidance, but it’s the return of Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman that truly gives The Flash its kick, and he storms into the breach as Batman and reminds us just why his performance in Tim Burtan’s 1989 Batman was so iconic.

This new trailer has a deeply emotional aspect to it, and it leans heavily on themes of loss, change and destiny within the narrative. It’s a bold and massive story and audiences will be flawed with what they witness in this film and this is must watch big screen viewing!
