How much time do we have left…

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Danny Boyle is a one-of-a-kind cinematic artist, and after 23 years, he’s now returning to the post-apocalyptic zombie horror hell of a future Britain ravaged by the RAGE virus in 28 Years Later. And this is set to be one of the wildest, most shocking cinematic events of 2025!

Watch the freaking TERRIFYING new trailer for 28 Years Later below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

28 years after the RAGE virus escaped a medical research laboratory, survivors have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One group lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway. When a father and his son leave the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, they discover secrets, wonders, and horrors of the outside world.

Building off the excitement and aggression of the first teaser trailer, this new trailer for 28 Years Later throws audiences right into the thick of this mad and wrathful post-apocalyptic Britain, and it’s an utter rush from beginning to end. Set again to Taylor Holmes’ chilling recital of Kipling’s “Boots”, this new trailer gives audiences a greater look at the hellscape of this future Britain, and Boyle dials up the adrenaline for what will be a pulse-pounding watch.

Shot entirely on an iPhone 15 Pro Max by cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle, 28 Years Later showcases a dirty, grainy, grimy look to the footage that fully invests you in the narrative, and you won’t be able to suspect where the horror will leap out from this one. Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland have amped things up with 28 Years Later, exploring how the RAGE virus has evolved over the decades, and focusing on a closed-off community on Lindisfarne, who suddenly find themselves facing the horrors of the mainland. Both Boyle and Garland are playing their cards close to the chest in relation to the full impact of the narrative, but this is going to be a whirlwind of a horror story.
